About Myself
I have worked in the jewellery industry for over 30 years now and specialise as a Jewellery Designer/Model Maker and Bespoke Diamond Jewellery mounter.
Having
built up many contacts over the years I can offer both a
competitive price, and the kind of quality Jewellery my most
discerning customers could require. Although I have worked mainly
within the jewellery industry for manufacturers and retailers, I am
always very happy to take on commissions for handmade diamond
jewellery from the general public, to whom I can offer excellent
value for money.
Based
in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter I share a workshop with my
Father Ken Goodby who is well respected in the industry and has
been an engraver for nearly 65 years. We both have separate
businesses and find that we get on well together.
My
paternal Grandfather was also an engraver, and jewellery
manufacturing in my family goes back in "fits and starts" to at
least the early 1800's. Jewellery manufacturing is also found on my
Mothers side of the family, so we have a long tradition of
jewellery making in our family.
It has always been my policy to give freely the best advice I can to my customers. It is this open and honest approach that I feel in the end inevitably recommends itself to customers.
I will always endeavour to meet any reasonable time schedule a client may have, and my job turn around times are pretty good, but like all craftsmen and women, I take great pride in my work and would therefore advise that it is better not to rush if you require the best results for your important jobs.
If you believe you may require my services, please feel free to contact me.
